O ICRC, junto com a ABCA, ligada à AICA (Associação Internacional de Críticos de Arte) busca promover o encontro e o diálogo entre os profissionais, pesquisadores, teóricos, ensaístas, jornalistas e professores que atuam na área da crítica de arte e o público interessado no tema. Não apenas na esfera das artes visuais, mas também na área da educação e da cultura promovendo assim, vários enfoques que revelam as questões do papel da crítica de arte.
O Encontro tem a Coordenação Geral do artista plástico, curador e crítico de arte Raul Córdula, membro da ABCA, com participação de curadores, pesquisadores e críticos com reconhecimento nacional e internacional. Esta edição será composta de palestras e mesas-redondas, feira de livros e visita a espaços culturais.

RCCI along with ABCA, connected to IAAC (International Association of Art Critics), search to promote the meeting and dialogue among professionals, researchers, theorists, journalists, professors and teachers who act at the art critics area and also the public who is interested on the theme. Not only at the visual art field, but also at the educational and cultural areas, thus promoting many approaches that reveal the questionings of the role within the art critics.
The meeting has General Coordination of the fine artists, curator and critic Raul Córdula, member of ABCA, with the participation of curators, researchers and critics with national and international recognition. This issue will be composed by lectures and round tables, book fairs and the visiting to cultural spaces.
